* Compressed files are used to make file transfer times faster and more efficient.  If you are using Win98 or lower, you can easily download a free copy of a compatible unZip utility at www.7-zip.org
If you are using WinXP or higher, zip file compression is automatic.
In current releases of Linux, zip file compression is automatic but I also indlude links to .tar.gz files.

*.PDF files are Adobe Portable Document Format.  The PDF viewer is available free from www.Adobe.com.
The PDF viewer is probably included with your Windows system and is standard in current releases of Linux.

* I am eBay user JacquesChiracNoir and SeaumsOBrog.  You may check my feedback rating as my reputation.  I have made hundreds of eBay transactions including newsletters with total satisfaction!

* PayPal is a service that allows you to make a secure credit card payment to any eMail address or Cell Phone number.  When you make the payment, PayPal notifies the recipient that there are funds waiting for them.  Even if the other party has not registered for a PayPal account, PayPal will send them the message that the funds are waiting and help them open the account to receive the funds.  Withdrawals from a PayPal account are done via savings or checking account.

* The 'Goods' field is to prevent the credit card from treating the PayPal payment as a cash advance.

The price should be the same but there can be ordering, delivery, and quality problems using Amazon.  I include Amazon because some prefer it.  I do not recommend Amazon.  Perhaps you haven't heard about Amazon's bid to squeeze small publishers.  Read about it here at Antitrust.

I have not heard of problems with
Borders, Barnes & Noble
